[edit] History
The band was formed in 1995, and their extensive touring earned them an increase in their popularity until they debut album in 1998 (Sacate Todo). Their following only increased following its release and they shared the stage with KISS in 1999.[1]
Their second full-length came in 2000 No Disparen was an even greater commercial hit, and several tracks from this album were widely played on radio and on television. This prompted the band to be invited on tour with two major argentine rock groups, Attaque 77 and Babasónicos, cementing the band's growing stature, even as their overall style of rock is hard to define.
Of this the band said "we are too punk for the rockers, and too rocking for the punksters, and too pop to be underground". Their latest album reflects influences from the Beach Boys, Elvis Costello,[2] to the pop style of Los Enanitos Verdes. Their overall style has roots in argentine rock sub-genres like sonic rock, with echoes of suburban rock. While their music is seen as too commercial in some sectors of the underground, they seem to get away with it, with stronger songwriting and catchier hooks than other similar outfits.
