Vile is the fifth album by Cannibal Corpse. It was released in 1996 through Metal Blade Records. The artwork is a representation of "Mummified in Barbed Wire." To add shock value, the corpse's rotted penis is showing. It is their first album with current singer George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. The band's new logo is shown on the cover. The edited album art shows only the corpse's head and face.
Vile was the first Cannibal Corpse album to appear on the Billboard 200 chart, debuting at No.151.
