The Vild is a region of the galaxy described in David Zindell's science fiction series, that is unusually prone to supernova. The reason behind this is the numerous attacks against Ede the God by the Silicon God, as well as the Silicon God's subtle manipulation of the Colonist Architects of the Universal Cybernetic Churches, in particular the original Old Church.

The only Civilized Worlds in the Vild is the trading planet of Farfara, and the Order Academy at Thiells, of which Danlo wi Soli Ringess played a major role in founding.

The Vild is chiefly occupied by the Narain Heretics of the Universal Cybernetic Church, the original architects, and various primitive human beings created by Ede The God.
