Vilanculos

Vilanculos is a town in the Inhambane province of Mozambique. It is a possible stop-over for both tourists headed to the Bazaruto Islands in the Indian Ocean, as well as for those traveling between Maputo and Beira. While Vilanculos does see some traffic from tourists and the highways, there is still not much in the way of infrastructure. It's a small town, but very well spread out.

It is home to an "international" airport, which serves charter flights to Johannesburg, South Africa.
