Vila Nova de Paiva (pron. IPA: ['vilɐ 'nɔvɐ dɨ 'paivɐ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 175.5 km² and a total population of 6,319 inhabitants.
The municipality is composed of 7 parishes and is located in the district Viseu.
The present mayor is Manuel Marques Custódio, elected by the Social Democratic Party.
The municipal holiday is March 2.
