Vikas Vidyalaya is a school. Established in 1952 to impart quality education, it is situated in the outskirt of Ranchi, capital of Jharkhand and spread over an area of around 200 acres. The school is situated on the Ranchi-Patna Highway at a distance of 15 km from the Railway station, 35 km from Ramgarh Cantonment Railway station and 20 km from the airport. The school was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The current school principal is B.J.rodrigues.(2006)
