Vierzon is a large French industrial town with a population of around 30,000 in the Cher département, located at 02° 04' 10" E, 47° 13' 21" N, on the Cher River and the N20 national road.

The town lies on four important highways and two major train lines, and is close to the Forêt de Vierzon.
