[edit] Overview
"Vidas de Fuego" is set on the wealthy cattle ranch of the Rivera Family whose gorgeous maid (Marlene Favela) is pregnant by her secret lover, a local priest, while the privileged Sofia Rivera seduces her stepson, Galo, to gain control of the family's empire. At the same time the maid's twin sister, a nun (also played by Favela), wants to know who is the real father of her sister's baby, which could ultimately determine who will control the Rivera family fortune.
The mini-soap spoof has taken on a life of its own and has proven to be a hit with Ugly Betty fans that the producers have given the segments a spot on its website, where they can see the full clip in its entirety.
The episodes, which are shown with the actors speaking Spanish and featuring English subtitles on Ugly Betty, are dubbed in English on the website.
