This template is intended for package illustrations of various miscellaneous video disc formats, including Laserdiscs, DiscoVision discs, SelectaVision CED discs, Video CDs, VHD discs, etc. For DVD covers, use Template:DVDcover; for videocassette covers, use Template:Video tape cover.
This image is of a Video disc cover, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher of the disc or the studio which produced the disc content in question. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of video disc covers
- to illustrate the packaging of the disc in question
