Victory Road (Pokémon)

In the Pokémon video games, Victory Road refers to a cavernous dungeon at the end leading up to the Elite Four. There are actually two separate "Victory Roads" in Pokémon: One leading to the Indigo Plateau in Kanto, the other leading to Evergrande City in Hoenn. Both of these dungeons features many skilled trainers along with fairly high level wild Pokémon. In Pokémon Red and Blue, this is where one can capture Moltres. However, in their enhanced remakes Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, Moltres is moved to Mount Ember, and Victory Road only serves as an area to access the Indigo Plateau.
