Victoria the White Cat
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Victoria is the white cat from the Broadway/London musical Cats. Her coat is almost completely white except that the tips of her ears are black. She was named after T.S. Eliot's favorite queen, Queen Victoria. Victoria mates with Plato, a young tom, during the Jellicle Ball in the filmed version of the show. She also mates with Alonzo, in the London production, or Tumblebrutus, on the Broadway production. The character portrays a cat in puberty, discovering her own body. As this is a very demanding role, requiring extensive ballet training, the actor enacting the character of Victoria should be very flexible.
