Talk:Victor Spinetti
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Can someone explain how one walks from Italy to Wales? He must have really long legs.
I can honestly say Victor Spinetti is sui generis. Have seen him in about a dozen plays over the years, and his one of a kind brilliance always comes shining through. Strange, really, that he is not more famous than he is. Talents like his come around only a couple of times in a generation. The appearances in the Beatles films, although delightful, are really the least of it. Although one has to ask: whatever happened to the sweater he wore in A Hard Day's Night? More febrile than fair Isle-- hopefully he still owns it. It must be worth a fortune.
==Amazing though it is, many unemployed Italians made the journey to Britain on foot (apart from the watery bits). I don't have attribution for this - as for Victor's grandad, V himself said so on BBC Radio 4 in 2005 - perhaps someone else could provide other examples of this Gwaka Lumpa
