[edit] Guide to: Assistant Vice Principals

A mystery vandal breaks into the Wood Shop, and using a hammer (and eating cheese puffs) he/she smashes a sander to pieces. Soon enough, Vice Principal Crubbs is on the case. He promises a new sander to Mr. Chopsaw, and he notices a clue, cheese puff residue at the crime scene. Unluckily, Ned and Cookie next enter the room, eating cheese puffs! The two are taken to the Vice Principal’s office, and admit not to smashing the sander, but skipping class and eating cheese puffs and video games in the bathroom. Ned and Cookie are off the hook, but Crubbs then accuses the usual suspect, Loomer of the crime, when he finds cheese puffs in his locker, and tells him that he’s going to be expelled because of it. Moze, thinking Loomer is guilty, blackmails Ned and Cookie into finding the real culprit.

At lunchtime when the group are eating ‘red hot’ cheese puffs (they’re too spicy for everyone, except Moze), Cookie realises that the cheese puff residue at the scene of the crime wasn’t the cheese puff residue from the type Loomer eats, the residue came from red hot ones. This proves Loomer’s innocence. Using this information, Cookie draws up his number one suspect using his computer. Unfortunately, the suspect turns out to be Moze! In the staff room, Ned, Moze and Cookie notice that the teachers aren’t particularly upset about their stuff being smashed. They teachers tell them that this is because Crubbs replaces the smashed equipment with brand new ones. Moze comes up with the idea that maybe the culprit is ‘smashing for good, not evil’. They form a plan to catch him/her.

Mr. Monroe leaves his broken VCR in his Life Science room, in the hope that the ‘Smasher’ will take the bait, come to his room and break it. Ned, Moze, Cookie and Mr. Monroe hide in a nearby cupboard in the room, waiting for the ‘Smasher’. Eventually, the ‘Smasher’ finally enters the room, and is revealed to be… Lisa Zemo! As class treasurer, she learned the school’s policy that stuff doesn’t get replaced unless it’s unoperable, and so has been smashing poor quality equipment. She gets taken to Vice Principal Crubbs and admits to what she had done. Crubbs appreciates her honesty, and lets her off with a warning. However, he warns them to keep the school’s policy a secret, or all the teachers will be breaking stuff. Unfortunately, his hand was on the PA button when he said this, and so all the teachers found out!

[edit] Guide to: Mondays

Mondays, they affect everyone (except maybe Lisa Zemo and Coconut Head), but they appear to affect Ned and Moze more than most. Gordy too, who’s usually in all day sleep on Mondays after his weekend ‘antics’, and the fact a noisy bluebird prevents him from sleeping in the nights. Unfortunately, Vice Principal Crubbs is refusing to put up with these sleeps any longer, and tells Gordy that if he finds him asleep again, he’s fired, to Ned, Moze and Cookie’s horror. So, Cookie sets about trying to keep Gordy awake, while Ned and Moze try and beat the ‘Monday blues’.

Ned’s first idea is ‘Monkey Monday’, where a monkey is brought into school, under the theory ‘Monkeys make everything better’. Unfortunately, the plan fails when the monkey escapes! Luckily, Cookie is having more luck with his new Wake-Master device. The machine lets Gordy sleep, but robotic arms moves Gordy, so that he looks like he’s moving, whenever Crubbs comes near. Next Monday, is ‘Megaphone Monday’, which involves extra loud conversations. Unfortunately, due to its users going deaf, this fails too! Cookie also has problems when the Wake Master crashes, leaving Gordy asleep when Crubbs approaches him. Luckily, Cookie’s on hand to sound one of the megaphone’s claxon in Gordy’s ear, promptly waking him up.

The following week, ‘Moccieato Monday’ also flops, as does the next one ‘Mozza Ball Monday’. Ned, for the first time ever, gives up and sinks into an all day depression. The Wake Master crashes again. Crubbs catches Gordy asleep and tells him that he’s fired. However, Gordy creates an ultimatum, he can keep his job if he catch the monkey, that’s still lose in the school. Crubbs agrees. Ned and Moze head to class and sit next to Coconut Head and Lisa. Ned has a quick conversation with the imaginary Abe Lincoln and Benedict Arnold figures on shoulders prompts him to ask Cocount Head and Lisa how they stay so peppy on Mondays, and they tell him their tips.

Soon after, Gordy catches the monkey, and Cookie designs the perfect device to keep him awake. It consists of Gordy wearing a bird cage on his head, containing two birds: ‘If one bird can keep him awake all night, two can keep him awake all day’. Ned and Moze use Cocount Head and Lisa’s tips, and make Mondays, fun days! The short ends as the class watch ‘The Wonderful World of Monkeys’ as part of ‘Movie Mondays’, and Lincoln and Arnold argue on Ned’s shoulders as usual.
