VIBE is a magazine owned by Quincy Jones. The publication contains articles on R&B and hip-hop music artists, actors and other entertainers. The magazine is also considered to be a trendsetter in fashion and style for its predominantly young, urban audience.[citation needed]

In addition, VIBE was also the name of a syndicated Late Night talk show which premiered in August 1997. It was produced by Quincy Jones and first hosted by Chris Spencer, and featured President Bill Clinton on the premiere.[citation needed] It was similar in nature to The Arsenio Hall Show of the early 1990s, for it attracted younger and minority audiences. Also that year, Keenan Ivory Wayans had a late night talk show. Spencer was fired in October of that year, and replaced by Sinbad, along with Big Boy as the in-house announcer. The show would only last until the summer of 1998, when it was cancelled. The Show taped from CBS Television City in Los Angeles.
