Viadana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 120 km southeast of Milan and about 35 km southwest of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 17,691 and an area of 102.2 km2.[1]

The municipality of Viadana contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Banzuolo, Bellaguarda, Bocca Chiavica, Buzzoletto, Cavallara, Cicognara, Cizzolo, Cogozzo, Sabbioni, Salina, San Matteo delle Chiaviche, and Squarzanella.

Viadana borders the following municipalities: Boretto, Borgoforte, Brescello, Casalmaggiore, Commessaggio, Dosolo, Gazzuolo, Marcaria, Mezzani, Motteggiana, Pomponesco, Sabbioneta, Suzzara.
