Veteran is the upcoming 3rd solo album by Marques Houston, to be released March 20, 2007. Houston describes the album as "a reflection of who I am as an artist and as a man. There's a lot that I've been through as far as relationships and just experiencing life. I'm only 25 but I’m veteran because I've been in the industry since I was 8 and I've watched the changes. He also says that he wants everybody knows that he's the man in the artist instead when he was a kid in the artist and he just want get that image out of their heads.[1]. Guest appearances on he album include Mýa, Shawnna & Yung Joc. There will be production from The Underdogs, Bryan Michael Cox and Rufus Black, among others. It suppose to come out in November 2006, but it was rather pushing further to March 2007, but the 2 singles came off from his new album.
