Formed in 1997 by Front Man / Guitarist, Shawn Mitchell, Vertigo Haze was a band on the rise. Based in Richmond, Virginia, the band was an opener for the area’s top local acts and even headlining acts such as International recording artists, Badfinger.

The band went through many different members before its current lineup created in 2004 of Shawn Mitchell (Lead Vocal and Lead Guitar), Rick Taormino (Drums and Vocals), Rich Hess (Bass and Vocals) and Marcos Torres (Rhythm Guitar and Vocals) now based on Red Lion, Pennsylvania and represented by Mason Dixon Media, LLC.

In 2005, Vertigo Haze released its debut CD, “Naked Eyes”, independently through Shawn Mitchell Music. The CD featured tracks spanning back to 1997 that triggered the surrounding phenomenon of the band. Sales of “Naked Eyes” have been worldwide with the help of the Internet and CDBaby. Vertigo Haze also offers digital downloads available on their Official Vertigo Haze Website.

Vertigo Haze has received Worldwide Airplay and continues to astonish its listeners. To see Vertigo Haze live is always a phenomenal event. The band never plays the same set list twice, and always keeps its audience on its toes.
