Versio Rac 1

Versió Rac 1 is a radio program broadcasted by catalan radio station Rac1. Main host is Toni Clapés, who is well known in Catalonia for doing impersionations of Llongueras, José Maria García and even Chelsea F.C.'s coach Mourinho. Other essential collaborations are:
Sr. Marcelí (Jaume Nolla): an old man who says he was in the Titanic and met a lot of old celebrities, but doesn't understand many of the modern world. Sr. Marcelí has a heavy feelings about an independent Catalonia. He's married and has a shared-time appartement in Salou.
Joan Spin: is a show-tv-man always interested in old-fashioned topics like 80's music, TV series and more. One of the main characters he becomes is a worker of a Car Repair shop in Barcelona's district "el Carmel" who likes cars, women and speed races.
Other collaborators include: Roger Jové (back up host), Pep Plaza (impersonator master), Oriol Cruz (impersonator) and Montse Lluçà.
Main scriptwriters are: Xènia Lobo, Rosanna Carceller, Laia Prats, Emma Aixalà.

Since September, 2005, Versió Rac 1 can be listened on Rac 1 radio station (87.7 MHz frequency in Barcelona metropolitan area, and other frequencies for different areas of Catalonia). Program schedule is from 16.00 to 19.00 (CET) all weekdays.

Versió Rac 1, formerly Versió Original when broadcasted by Catalunya Ràdio, originated as a 1-hour humor review of the day's news in 1996. Eventually became a 3-hour program which includes sections of humor, culture, news, TV analyzing and other topics.
