Verkhoturye (Russian: Верхоту́рье) is town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Tura River some 306 km north of Yekaterinburg. Population: 7,600 (2005 est.); 7,815 (2002 Census); 10,900 (1967).

Verkhoturye was founded in 1598 and granted town status in 1947.
