Verendrye Electric Cooperative is a public utility cooperative based in Velva, North Dakota. It serves as the electric distribution utility in a portion of north central North Dakota. Verendrye Electric receives power from the Central Power Electric Cooperative.

It is named after the French Canadian explorer La Vérendrye.
