  • In the legal world, it is a term used for the place of a trial.
  • In the music industry, the term music venue is used to refer to concert sites, especially among touring acts.
  • in the entertainment industry, the term refers to the location, or type of location, in which the entertainment is held.
  • In sports, the term is sometimes used to refer to the building or stadium in which an event takes place, most ubiquitously in the Olympic games.
