Velkua (IPA: [ˈʋelkuɑ]) is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Finland Proper region. The municipality has a population of 245 (2005-12-31) and covers an area of 30.07 km² (excluding sea) of which 0.13 km² is inland water. The population density is 8,1 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
