Vegusdal

Vegusdal is a former municipality in Aust-Agder county, Norway.
It was created by the split of Evje og Vegusdal into Vegusdal and Evje in 1877. Vegusdal had 935 inhabitants after the split, and in 1900 the municipality had 985 inhabitants distributed among 141 farms.
On 1 January 1967 Vegusdal was incorporated into Birkenes municipality. Before the merger Vegusdal had 582 inhabitants.
