Vecchiano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pisa in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 70 km west of Florence and about 8 km north of Pisa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 12,031 and an area of 67.4 km2.[1]
Vecchiano borders the following municipalities: Lucca, Massarosa, San Giuliano Terme, Viareggio.
