VdSV9 stands for GASPA written upside down.
GASPA is the nickname Thiago Ferreira Gasparino da Silva`s friends usually call him, and he enjoys being called that. Thiago is Portuguese for James. (actually it's Tiago, but in portuguese we don't have that bite-the-tip-of-your-tongue-Th sound so it's the exact same thing). So if you like you can call me James, Jimmy or whatever. But I like Gaspa.
Gaspa was born in Florianopolis, Brazil on July 21st, 1983. He is an electrical engineering student at UFSC one year from graduating.
He doesn't usually write in the third person, but since this is for an encyclopaedia he believes it to be appropriate.
Ok, a little more on me.
I play guitar for nearly ten years now. Initially acoustic guitar, moved to electric about a year after that. But since 2000 I haven't been practicing a lot, just figure out a song here and there.
On the past three years I have been learning bass. The old story "So our band needs a bass player... I don't know any, but there's a guy who plays guitar really well and I think he could do it". I *think* I've done it.
[edit] Contributions
I've been making changes in The Matrix and related articles. But I'm waiting to help more once I get my Matrix collection back...
I also did a nice translation for the Itaipu article from pt.wikipedia, where it has gained Feature article status. Recently it has been fixed (grammarwise, etc...) by a kind soul, cheers for them! That's the place I worked at as an internt in the first half of 2006.
I've been checking out the Blizzard Entertainment related articles. I'm a huge fan of their works and intend to add stuff there when I have time, or when I can come up with something useful.
I'm also interested in the List of works in irregular time signatures and lots of other things. One of these days I thought that a wikitabs or something of the sort would be a good idea, and in no time I found this: tabwiki.com and although I haven't tabbed many things there yet, I plan on doing so ASAIC.
