Vasilis Papakonstantinou (Greek: Βασίλης Παπακωνσταντίνου), is a rock music Greek singer. He was born on June 21 1950 in a village called Vasta in Peloponnese. He is one of the most recognisable figures in Greek rock music and has cooperated with important Greek music figures like Mikis Theodorakis, Manos Loizos and Thanos Mikroutsikos and has sung songs based on poems written by important Greek poets such as Nikos Kavadias and Kostas Kariotakis.
