Vasco Nunes

Vasco Lucas Nunes is a Portuguese cinematographer, producer, and film director, born in Lisbon, Portugal. In 2003, he graduated from the American Film Institute, where he got a masters in Cinematography, but had began working in the film and television industry in the early '90s. He is a senior partner in Interloper Films, a production company based in Los Angeles. He is know for his documentary work on several projects with Ondi Timoner, most notably DiG!. He is the father of a child, Joaquim, with Ondi Timoner.
His work with Interloper Films is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and has garnered international cinematography awards, a Grand Jury Prize at Sundance, and film selections at numerous festivals, including Cannes and Sundance.
