[edit] Moldovenism

I seriously have doubts about believing that there was "Moldovenism" before USSR theory. AFAIK, in early 19th century even the Moldavians that were against a union with Wallachia accepted a common "Romanian" identity of the Moldavians and Wallachians. bogdan 22:53, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

You're right, the theory of Moldovan language and Moldovan people belongs to Joseph Stalin (http://www.revista22.ro/html/index.php?art=589&nr=2003-09-08 - Ce este limba moldoveneasca?; http://www.contrafort.md/2003/105-106/570_8.html ; Paul Goma - Basarabia: http://www.tiuk.reea.net/10/basarabia2.html ; http://www.gid-romania.com/IndexSectionst.asp?SectionID=34&SID=83 - '4 noiembrie 1940') Adriatikus 23:09, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
