The Varduli were a tribe that Roman historians reported in Northern Hispania, west of the Vascones and east of the Caristii and the Deba river. Their main city was Araceli (modern Uharte-Arakil, Navarre). They probably spoke Basque, being the modern Guipuscoan dialect extended over the same area.
