Vangie Tang

Vangie Tang Wing-chi (鄧穎芝) (born May 22, 1985) is a relatively unknown dance-oriented singer even in Hong Kong, and has signed for Sony Music of Hong Kong since 2004.

She was a student in St. Antorious College. In 2003, she participated in the "2003 International Chinese New Talent Singer Championship (Hong Kong)", by TVB, and was nominated to enter the "First Eights" heats. After the championship, her talents were discovered by C C To (杜自持), and under his tutelage, joined Sony Music.

Her songs were influenced by Hip Hop, a result of a 3-year practice in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Her first Album, with famous songs "Glass Shoes" (玻璃鞋) and "Wait for half day" (等半天), was released in late 2004. Her second album "V2" is due for release in December 2005.
