Vanessa Daou

Vanessa Daou is a sultry electronica singer who has worked with her husband Peter Daou in The Daou and as a solo artist. The record Zipless is poetry by Peter's aunt Erica Jong set to music.
She also recorded a duet, "Make Believe", with French pop star Étienne Daho on his album "Corps & armes" in 2000.
In 2004, Vanessa Daou and her husband, now a prominent political blogger with salon.com, stopped working together.
