Van Ness-UDC is a Washington Metro station in Washington, DC on the Red Line.
Van Ness-UDC serves the University of the District of Columbia, with entrances on either side of Connecticut Avenue at Veazey Terrace. It also serves the Howard University Law School, and also the Edmund Burke School, a local independent school. Van Ness-UDC station is also very close to the headquarters of Intelsat, one of the world's leading satellite communications companies. Service began on December 5, 1981.
