Richard A. Vanderwielen was Born November 17, 1955 in Lafayette, Indiana. He is currently President and Chairman of HomeTown Television Corporation in Noblesville, Indiana. Rick is a 1974 graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and was selected it's Wall of Fame in 2005. He is a Distinguished Alumni (2005) of Purdue University receiving a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology in 1978.

In 1985, he formed Indiana Automation, Inc, later integrator.com leading that organization for 15 years becoming the premier integrator of security and correctional electronics for the construction of jails, prisons and detention centers. integrator.com was sold to Best Access Systems, later Stanley Security Solutions.

Fleware Integration, later Flexware Innovation was formed in 1996 to serve industrial manufacturing software solutions. He sold his stock to the Flexware employees in 1999.
