Location of Valperga in Italy

Valperga is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 35 km north of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,111 and an area of 11.8 km2.[1]

It is most famous for the Sacro Monte, a site of pilgrimage and worship close to it.

Valperga borders the following municipalities: Castellamonte, Cuorgnè, Pratiglione, Prascorsano, Salassa, Pertusio, Rivara, and San Ponso.
