[edit] Former Airlines/Routes

At one point, American Eagle Airlines operated flights from Dallas to Valley International using ATR-72 aircraft and, for a short time before leaving Harlingen, ERJ-145 aircraft.

After American's departure, Southwest was left with the only non-stop Dallas route from Harlingen, though the Harlingen-Love Field route has since been suspended.
