Val de Seine

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Val de Seine is one of the most important business districts of Paris agglomeration. Located at the southwest of the city, it spreads along a bend of the Seine river mainly on the municipalities Boulogne-Billancourt, Issy-les-Moulineaux and the South of Paris 15th arrondissement.

The district, largely dominated by industries during most of the 20th century, has specialized in communication activities since the 1980's, becoming today the most important business district of Paris agglomeration in that specific field. Today, most major French TV networks have their headquarters located in the area (TF1, France Television, Arte, Canal+, TPS, Eurosport).
