From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hi guys. I've been using Wikipedia for quite a while now, but just stumbled into editing. I'd found out our described video company (though not the one listed in that article) will be doing our third season of the series Poko, so while doing some research on the production company for more projects, I learned there was a Wikipedia article for the show. Since I'd seen every show of the other two seasons, I noticed some things that could be tweaked (though the article is great), so I did...and then I got the editing bug. And we all know how painful that can be.
So I went over to the article for my friend Moe Berg (musician) - you'll notice I haven't mastered piping yet - and his band The Pursuit of Happiness, for whom I do a website, so I know some extra stuff about that too. More editing ensued. Not a ton, because everyone does a great job, but it was nice to sort of contribute to history. :-) It's also nice to do a little something for Wikipedia, which has been such a help to me over the years.
As I now have this dang bug, I guess I'll be flitting around to other articles and such trying to do some good. Even though I have that site, a blog and a podcast, I'm not a great coding genius, though I'll learn over time, and hopefully I'll figure out how to do one of those cool box things that go along the side of people's user pages, though right now it looks very confusing.
Okay, I think I got it. See how much progress I've made in one day? Uh, yeah... Next, I will figure out I have way too many of them.
Thanks!
