[edit] Birth Year

It says 1943 on the article and 1938 in the categories (I remember it used to say 1938 on the article). Having seen Val on TV 2 or so years ago I find it somewhat hard to believe she was born in 1943 (she looked like she was getting on for 70). And it's equally hard to believe she was in her 30s when appearing in Prisoner. The only sources I can find which gives 1943 is the highly unreliable IMDB and a few celeb sites that most likely got their info from IMDB. Does anyone know anything more?
