Vairano Patenora is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 60 km north of Naples and about 35 km northwest of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,330 and an area of 43.7 km².^[1]

Vairano Patenora borders the following municipalities: Ailano, Caianello, Marzano Appio, Pietravairano, Pratella, Presenzano, Raviscanina, Riardo, Teano.
