Vaidotas

Vaidotas was son of Grand Duke of Lithuania Kęstutis. He was a commander of garrison of Kaunas Castle till 1362, when Kaunas Castle was sieged by Teutonic Knights. After strong resistance castle was captured in spring of 1362 and then destroyed. Vaidotas with remaining alive 36 castle defenders was captured. Supposedly, later Vaidotas was redeemed from Teutonic Knights by Kęstutis.

Vaidotas (+ after 1362) was the Prince of Black Ruthenia 1347 - 13??.
