Vagina gentium, the peoples' mother, womb of nations, cradle of humanity, the place where humans (Homosapiens) first appeared.

This area is mostly accepted to be in Africa with most recent studies placing it in Ethiopia. There are some however on the margins of the scientific community who say that modern humans evolved in Asia.
