Vagina envy is when a man envies women because they have a vagina and he does not. Vagina envy may be brought about by the fact that a vagina has various properties that a man may desire to have for himself. One ability, in particular, attained by having a vagina is the female orgasm. Some women, unlike men, are able to have multiple orgasms, while men have a refractory period after their first orgasm. During this time it is impossible for a man to achieve an orgasm.

Furthermore, the female orgasm lasts longer and some believe is potentially more intense than a man's.
