Adriano B. Kury born in June, 29, 1962 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Divorced twice, 2 children, lots of students, little time.

Zoologist, specialized in Arachnida Opiliones, currently works in the Brazilian National Museum, Rio.

Ph.D. 1993 University of São Paulo.

Post-doc 2002 Pretoria, South Africa.

1) OmniPaper - a bio-bibliographical online resource for taxonomy of Opiliones.

2) Opilionomicon - an online database for Opiliones

3) Systematic review and cladistic analysis of the Tricommatinae.

4) Creating a database of the worldwide records for Opiliones relating them to the WWF Ecoregions with help of ArcView and Google Earth Pro aiming to produce a list of species for each ecoregion and of course a list of ecoregions for each species.

5) Cladistics of Podoctidae.

6) Minor taxonomic work on Pachylinae, Cranaidae, Cosmetidae, Triaenonychidae.
