Vadalur is a panchayat town in Cuddalore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
About the town Vadalur
Ramalinga Swamigal popularly called as Vallalar had established Sathyagnana Sabai. The "Thai Poosam" function in December-January is an festival of this place. He sang thousands of songs called "Thiru Arutppa". This district named after him for sometime.

Vadalur has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 61%. In Vadalur, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
