Vašek Klouda

Vasek Klouda is currently (2006) the reigning freestyle footbag champion of the world. Born in 1986, raised, and resident in Prague, in the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klouda started playing footbag when he was 13. He won his first Footbag World Championship in 2002 in San Francisco, beating the 2 time defending champion Ryan Mulroney in the most tightly contested finals ever. He completed a clean sweep by taking first place in the 3 major freestyle disciplines: 2 Minute Routines, Shred30, and Sick 3. Vasek has since successfully defended his title four times, in Prague in 2003, Montreal in 2004,in Helsinki in 2005, as well as at last year's Worlds in Frankfurt. His 5 consecutive World Titles is a record. Peter Irish is the only person to have won as many World Titles (5), however, Pete only managed to win 3 of them consecutively.
