Vågsøy (Vaagso in English) is a municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. The municipality was formed in 1965 when the municipalities of Nord-Vågsøy and Sør-Vågsøy merged.

Vågsøy is made up of the mainland and islands on the northern and outer shore of the Nordfjord and borders Møre og Romsdal county and Selje, Eid and Bremanger municipalities. The municipality is named after its largest island.

The municipality's administrative center is the town Måløy.

The municipality is the largest port of fisheries in Norway measured in landed quantity.
