Uthman , Othman or Usman (Arabic:عثمان) is a male Arabic given name that means the chosen one amongst the tribe of brave and noble people. Honest, caring and sincere, also genuine and attractive[dubious — see talk page].
Uthman was the name of the third caliph of the Muslims, Muhammad's son-in-law.
