Utah State Route 186

Utah State Route 186 is a six-lane road (seven including center lane) in Salt Lake County that goes from the east end of Interstate 215 to the Salt Lake City International Airport. Going northwestbound, it is known as Foothill Drive from Interstate 215 to Research Road, near the University of Utah. Then it is 500 South until it dips down one block past 1100 East to make 400 South. It turns northbound onto 300 West for five blocks then turns west onto North Temple. Then it continues onto North Temple until the airport, where it ends. The University UTA TRAX line runs from University Avenue on 500 South, to Main Street on 400 South. Major freeway intersections include Interstate 215 at the beginning of the route, Interstate 15 in Downtown (express lane only), and Interstate 80 at the end of the route, by the airport.
