UT Arad is a football club based in Arad, Romania. It was founded in 1946. It is the team that won 6 titles, the most Romanian championships, except for Steaua Bucureşti and Dinamo Bucureşti, and the Romanian Cup twice.

Its most famous victory took place in September 1970 when it eliminated defending champions Feyenoord from the European Cup.

UT Arad is famous for one of its former goalkeepers, Helmuth Duckadam, the man who saved four penalties in the 1986 European Cup, which Steaua Bucureşti won against Barcelona.They also have a large group of suporters named Red Fighters.
