Good/great article! I had noticed that in the Dictionary of American Naval Fighting Ships they do list the ship as USS Mayflower II (PY-1/WPG-183). Does that make a difference? It doesn't to me but there are other ships named the same..see the site(http://www.sail1620.org/discover_commemoration_mayflower_namesakes.shtml). (Stormbay 23:03, 3 December 2005 (UTC))
